EXO TERRA Heating/Light - Seite 2

Thermostat and hygrostat from Exoterra

Dimming & Pulse Proportional function controls the terrarium temperature very accurately
100W hygrostat for controlling optimal humidity
Controls heating units up to 600W
Day and night temperature and humidity can be set individually
From 10°C - 60°C and up to 99%RH

With the Exo Terra Thermostat & Hygrostat with Day/Night Timer, you can create a well-controlled heating/humidification system that allows you to maintain the necessary temperature and humidity conditions similar to those found in desert and tropical environments.

The day and night temperature and humidity can be set individually. For example, the temperature can be set lower at night, while the humidity can be set higher, just as it would happen in nature.

The thermostat and hygrostat also help prevent overheating and undercooling on hot summer days or cold winter nights, while maintaining the humidity at the desired level.

The dimming function keeps the temperature at the desired set-point with a much higher accuracy than conventional thermostats and virtually eliminates temperature fluctuations in the terrarium.

The Heat Wave Rock simulates a stone heated by the sun (in nature, even after sunset, stones maintain some heat for several hours). Various reptiles, including nocturnal, use this form of conductive heat for thermoregulation which is important for metabolism and digestion.

The Heat Wave Rock automatically shuts off when a certain surface temperature is reached to prevent burns or overheating. The fully-encased electronically controlled heating element covers the stone, prevent hot spots. The special thermal conductive resin is waterproof, non-toxic, easy to clean and ensures an even heat distribution. Natural looking Heat Wave Rocks are available in three sizes and are easy to integrate in any terrarium set-up; humid or dry.
