VTG 1 uses softer, faded colours at 30fps, while VTG 2 adds warmer nostalgic tones at 30fps. ANA records at 18fps with textured, grainy rendering inspired by 8mm home movies, and B&W records monochrome footage at 30fps. The selected filter is baked into the recorded file, and model-specific custom filters can also be installed.Simple controls with useful expansionThe camera records 2.7K video using a 1/2.7-inch sensor and an f/2.0 lens with a 3.29mm focal length, equivalent to 25.7mm in 35mm terms. T and W buttons control the 8x digital zoom, while analogue-style meters show remaining battery and storage. Audio is captured by the built-in microphone, and current models also provide a microphone input and cold shoe for optional audio or lighting accessories.Film now, transfer laterThere is no photo mode, on-camera playback or delete function. The included 4GB SD card stores approximately 30 minutes of footage, and cards up to 128GB provide up to approximately 16 hours.
