Due to the BTR15's ability to function as a Bluetooth receiver and as a USB DAC, FiiO has implemented a PC/BT/PHONE mode button on it. With just one press of a button, you can quickly switch between three different modes to adapt to your current situation to listen to high-quality music.
Dual-core upgrade
The upgrades begin at the heart of the BTR15, specifically the cores that power it. BTR15 uses the high-performance combination of Qualcomm QCC5125 Bluetooth chip and XMOS 16-core XU316 which supports stable high-resolution audio playback in any mode*, giving you more ways to immerse yourself in the world of high-quality hi-res music.
Notes on sample rate:
*BT mode supports LDAC/aptX, Adaptive/aptX, HD/aptX/AAC/SBC and other high-resolution Bluetooth formats with sampling rates up to 96 kHz; *PC/PHONE mode supports asynchronous decoding up to 384 kHz/32 bit PCM and DSD256.
