In addition to the 3 programs, the Vitamix Ascent A2500i comes with variable speed control and heart rate function, which allows you to fine-tune the consistency of any recipe.

Digital Timer

SELF-DETECT ™ & Interlock
The engine base is able to recognize the container size you have selected and automatically adjusts program settings and maximum mixing times in relation to the container size.
Choose from a range of compatible container sizes that are customized and designed to fit your needs.
A safety precaution prevents engine activation unless the container is in place with the lid is put on correctly. If the lid is lifted or the container is removed while the engine is running, it is disconnected and with one built-in engine brake it stops in less than 2 seconds. It is still possible to add ingredients below the blend through the filling hole in the lid.

Powerful engine
The powerful engine from Vitamix has 2.2 horsepower and can blend even the toughest ingredients into a silky soft smoothie and at the same time keeps itself air-cooled. Vitamix is designed with a thermal fuse, which means that the blender switches off in case of overload, so that the engine does not burn together.

Easy cleaning
Both jug, lid, stopper and tamper can be washed in the dishwasher. Another easy way is to let the blender "rinse" the jug itself.
With a simple drop of dishwashing detergent and hot water, the Vitamix blender can clean itself in approx. 30 - 40 seconds.
Clean the engine base with a cloth wrung out with warm water.

Low-Profile jug
Vitamix Ascent comes standard with a 2 liter jug with clear lid, which allows monitoring the mixture. The jug has a narrow spout that makes it easy to serve directly from it or pour the contents into smaller ones
serving bowls. The low jug means that the blender can stand under the wall cabinets on the kitchen table or can be easily adjusted the kitchen cabinet.
