Viking arbor Easy eject for Bi-MetalHole Saws

VIKING Easy Eject holder M30S is suitable for bi-metal hole saws with an 11mm hexagonal shaft and a short HSS pilot drill. The Easy Eject holder fits all VIKING and blackbolt bi-metal hole saws with a diameter of 35mm or larger, which have a standard cutting depth of 38mm. The Easy Eject pilot drill can be pushed through the hole saw so that the cut material is ejected from the saw. This holder is particularly suitable for plasterboard.The Easy Eject holder also comes in a long version (M30L), which fits VIKING CC Carbide Cut multi-purpose hole saws with deeper cutting depths (59mm).The choice of pilot drill depends on the type of hole saw (bi-metal or Carbide Cut or 3TPI) used on the holder and on the material being cut. Pilot drills come in two different lengths (short or long) and two different qualities (HSS or HM). HSS drills are used for steel, wood, plasterboard etc., while HM drills are used for masonry/LECA.Short drills are used for bi-metal hole saws and small-toothed hard metal toothed-hole-saws such as VIKING's 3TPI black-hole-saw because they have smaller cutting depths (38mm). Long drills are used for CC Carbide Cut multi-purpose holesaws because their cutting depth is greater than that of bi-metal holesaws.So choose your holder carefully and remember to select an appropriate pilot drill if it does not match your chosen combination of holesaw type/material to be cut. For example, if you want to use a Carbide Cut holesaw to cut soft bricks then you will need an HM masonry bit which should be long because the holesaw has a greater cutting depth. If you want to use a Carbide Cut holesaw to cut wood/plasterboard, then you can use an HSS pilot drill, either short or long depending on the cutting depth of your chosen holesaw.
