It also features an effective mortar breaking edge, which makes it easier to control inside the joint and enables pre-breaking of the joint. The chisel is intended for use on mortar and brickwork primarily for removing vertical mortar joints. SDS plus chisels come in two thicknesses to fit all standard mortar joints and ensure they fit between bricks.
