ELEGOO PLA+ Filament — Orange, 1 kg spool (1.75 mm ±0.02 mm). A vivid, well-saturated PLA+ designed for reliable, high-detail FDM printing. PLA+ gives improved toughness and layer adhesion compared with standard PLA, while remaining easy to print and producing a smooth, low-odor finish. Spool is vacuum-sealed with desiccant to protect from moisture. Consistent diameter and tight tolerances reduce clogs and feeding issues. Ideal for colorful prototypes, display models, figurines and functional parts that benefit from better impact resistance than standard PLA.

Printing tips
Begin with a test tower to dial in the optimal temperature for your specific printer and spool. PLA+ often benefits from slightly higher extrusion temperatures than standard PLA (near the upper range above), which can help layer adhesion and reduce visible layer lines. Use moderate bed heat (50–60 °C) or a glue stick/PEI surface for best first-layer adhesion. Cooling fan on for fine detail; reduce fan for large structural parts to enhance interlayer strength. If you notice stringing, lower retraction distance/speed slightly or reduce hotend temperature by a few degrees.
Material handling & storage
Filament is vacuum-packed with a moisture absorber—open only when ready to print. PLA+ can absorb moisture over time; if you observe popping or poor surface finish, consider drying the spool (e.g., 40–50 °C for several hours) before use. Store unused spools in sealed bags with desiccant.
Applications
Great for colorful prototypes, display pieces, miniatures, cosplay props, jigs and fixtures, and other prints that need attractive color and better toughness than plain PLA. Because it is biodegradable (plant-base PLA backbone), disposal is simpler than many petrochemical engineering plastics, though recycled/industrial composting conditions are required for full biodegradation.
Compatibility
Works with most 1.75 mm FDM printers supporting standard nozzles and temperatures up to 230–320 °C (depending on material). Always check your printer’s capabilities and perform a short calibration print on a new spool to confirm ideal print settings.
