Freewell 16 mm Wide-Angle Lens with 17 mm Mount is designed to significantly expand the field of view and creative flexibility of smartphone photography and videography. With a 105° viewing angle and a 16 mm equivalent focal length, the lens allows users to capture significantly more of the scene compared to a standard smartphone camera.

This wider perspective is particularly useful for landscape photography, architectural compositions, group photos, and vlogging scenarios where space is limited. It enables the inclusion of more environmental context without requiring the photographer to physically move further away from the subject, making it ideal for both outdoor and confined shooting environments.

The lens supports close focusing at approximately 0.5 meters, adding versatility for both wide environmental shots and closer, more detailed compositions. This allows seamless switching between expansive scenes and more focused visual storytelling within the same setup.
