Getting started with your new Philips Hue smart lighting system is very easy and just require a few simple steps. There is no difference in starting with a Bridge that comes with a starter kit, or one that you bought separately. Follow these steps to connect your new amazing lights:
When you have the Hue Bridge installed and the Hue lights that you are going to use for your entertainment area found in the Hue app, you can follow these steps to set up your lights and start synchronizing them to the entertainment of your choice.
There are two different ways of using the Hue Sync function for your lights around a TV. The first solution is to connect a desktop or laptop to your TV and use it as a screen, and setting up your entertainment area in relation to that. To do this, follow the instruction above on "How to setup Hue Sync for the PC".
The other, primary option for Hue Sync to your TV is using the Philips Hue Play HDMI Sync Box, a Hue accessory that reads the colors shown on your TV screen and then synchronizes your Hue lights. If you have a Hue Bridge setup, your Hue lights ready and connected, then follow these steps to get started with your Hue Sync Box.
